Wildlife safari in Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, exploring the region's flora, fauna and human history.
Every itinerary can be customised, with budget, mid-range or luxury accommodation.
Land at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport and transfer 40 km (about 30 minutes) to your lodge for dinner and the night.
A cultural day: the city centre, a Swahili language lesson and an introduction to rites of passage. Back at the lodge for a swim.
In the foothills of Kilimanjaro you meet local women's groups, tour the market and a cheese factory and share a traditional Chagga lunch.
Transfer to Tarangire for field experiences on flora and fauna and an afternoon walk with a local guide.
A game drive, then up the escarpment for views over the Great Rift Valley and on to Olduvai Gorge, the Cradle of Mankind, before camp in central Serengeti. Campfire stories in the evening.
An early start around the kopjes for predator activity, a midday rest at camp, then an afternoon at the hippo pool or acacia woodland.
Explore the Gol Plains on the way to the highlands, then take a wilderness walk with a Maasai guide before sunset.
Enter the crater early to cover the whole floor, with lunch by the lake, then a scenic afternoon transfer to Lake Eyasi.
Before sunrise you walk with Hadzabe hunters and their bows, return for brunch, then spend the evening with the village elders.
Say goodbye to your Hadzabe hosts and drive to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive along the soda lake shore.
A slow morning at camp, then back to Arusha. The free afternoon is for craft markets, restaurants or museums.
Visit the Meru people on the slopes of Mount Meru and follow coffee from harvest to brew, then paddle a canoe around Lake Duluti for birds and reptiles.
A free morning for shopping and packing. In the evening a farewell with kanga gifts, a cooking class and a night out in Arusha.
Visit the Ilkurot Maasai village, sing and dance with the children and watch the morans in their beadwork. Your last evening is free.
A trip debrief, then a transfer to your Arusha departure point or Kilimanjaro Airport.

Yes. Our consultants build safaris around your interests and budget, including for families, honeymooners and professional photographers.
Small. Groups are usually 1 to 7 guests, occasionally up to a maximum of 21. Every guest has a window seat, and we recommend swapping seats each day.
Lodges usually serve buffet meals prepared to western tastes with some local dishes, and our camp chefs cook fresh food on camping safaris. Vegetarian and diabetic meals can be arranged with advance notice.
Please consult your doctor or travel clinic well before departure. Entry to Tanzania minimally requires proof of yellow fever vaccination and anti-malarial medication.
We send a rescue vehicle within 2 to 4 hours, depending on your location, and your guide works to make up the lost time. If needed, a flying-doctors evacuation (on request) or a transfer to a nearby lodge can be arranged.
Tell us what you have in mind and we will reply with honest advice and a tailor-made quote.
