What to tell us

The more we know, the better your first proposal will be. Useful details are your travel dates or month, how many people are travelling and the ages of any children, the style of accommodation you prefer and the places or experiences you most want to include. It also helps to know whether you have a budget range in mind, if anyone has dietary needs or limited mobility, and whether you are celebrating a special occasion. If you have seen a particular itinerary or lodge on the site, mention it, and we will use it as a starting point.

If you are not sure yet, that is fine. Tell us roughly what you have in mind and how long you have, and we will suggest options and explain the differences. Many travellers start with a rough idea, such as two weeks in July with a safari and a few days on the beach, and the plan takes shape over a few emails. We can suggest the best parks for your dates, the right length for each part of the trip and the accommodation style that matches your budget.

What happens next

A consultant reads your request and replies by email with questions or a first itinerary, usually with a written quote. You can ask for changes as often as you like until the plan is right. If you have questions, you can also call or message us on WhatsApp at any stage. We are happy to explain the differences between options, for example between camping and lodges, or between driving and flying between parks, so you can choose with confidence.

Nothing is booked until you confirm. When you are ready, we explain the deposit and the booking terms, then reserve the lodges, flights and transfers and send you the final documents before you travel. We also send practical information to help you prepare, such as packing lists, health advice and what to expect on arrival. During the trip, your guide and our office stay in touch, so you have support from the first email to the day you fly home.
